VIZ to Cancel Shoujo Beat Magazine

And so another awesome anime magazine bites the dust. VIZ is canceling Shoujo Beat, the magazine that took the place of Animerica Extra in 2005.

DUDES! I don’t care how bad the stupid economic situation gets, this is just getting stupid!!!! Now I have nothing to read with no Shoujo and no Newtype. I’m afraid to subscribe to OtakuUSA out of fear of that magazine calling it quits too. GAH! I don’t even know what to say about this right now…. I’m too upset.

What are your opinions???

I guess, at least, VIZ isn’t going out of business and the titles published in the magazine will continue to be released as graphic novels but still… T_______________T
