I can only pray that one of my top favorite Anime series, Evangelion, doesn't get the hack job that so many others that came before it have. Should a good job be done, I will be the first to make an apology, but I'm not rushing to grab the apology notes just yet. Even the Japanese can get it wrong sometimes... anyone seen the Utena musical? Don't get me wrong I fell victim to the tunes ("Thank you my Prince! Thank you my Bride!!!!!!), but when I actually saw the musical on my television (whassup fansubbers!), I thought I might have been on drugs. My God, the girl playing Akio was smoking and wearing some ugly silver chain belt and everyone was doing interpretive dance... the horror!
